Let's Take a Walking Tour of Downtown Seattle!

Join us for a stroll around downtown Seattle!
Our journey will begin in the newer "modern" shopping district, then we'll meander down into "old" Seattle and the Pioneer Square area before heading back uphill and ending with a visit to the Seattle downtown library. Learn some of Seattle's fascinating history and view some old & new architecture while strolling with ELLA friends!
The walk will last approximately 2.5 hours, including a rest stop for lunch at Columbia Tower food court. We estimate being back in Bellevue by 2:30 p.m.
This tour is FREE and open to everyone.
Children are welcome to join us, and the walk is stroller-friendly, although we will have a few hills to navigate.
Here are the details:
Transportation:
> If you would like to take the bus together from Crossroads Shopping Center, we will meet at the red RapidRide B-Line bus stop at 156th Ave & NE 10th St, promptly at 9:45 a.m. Then we'll join the others on the 550 Bus.
> If you would like to take the bus together from Downtown Bellevue, we will meet at the Bellevue Transit Center, Bay 9 promptly at 10:10 a.m. to catch the 550 Bus into Seattle.
> If you prefer to drive your car into Seattle or take your own bus route into Seattle, you can meet us in the Westlake area of downtown at the Nike store at 6th Ave. & Pike St. at 11:05 a.m. There are several parking lots along Pike Street. The cost will be about $16-$20 to park in the lots. The Nike store has some benches just inside the door, and you can wait there until we arrive by bus and meet you.
What to wear & what to bring:
> Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather!! It might be cool or rainy. We will be walking up and down some small hills.
> Bring your lunch or bring money to buy lunch at the Columbia Tower food court. If you plan to take the bus with us, bring your ORCA card or $2.75 exact for each bus, each direction. There is also a new app that you can download to pay the fare more easily in advance.
